Overview
Founded in 2014, RoomNet is a groundbreaking digital platform offering travellers control of guest services and their own entertainment through their phone and TV. Through the interface, guests can securely access their own content, concierge, room service, dry cleaning, travel information and more — directly to the in-room TV without risk of their content being available to other guests.


Brief
The company needed a brand overhaul to realign themselves as the premium technology offering their product deserved. With an increasing client base and growing reputation as innovators in guest room entertainment, they wanted to update their brand, visual identity and presentation tools to reflect their status as an official Apple technology partner and attract major international hospitality clients.

Response
One early decision was to drop "TV" from the brand name, as it was misleading given the variety of services available. I created a clean marque more in keeping with the company's aspirations. The Play arrow was retained subtly, giving instant recognisability, and the "Take Control" brand line was developed as a sign-off and call to action. A strong visual language using bold shapes and clean lines was implemented across B2B presentation tools including website, digital advertising, corporate literature, stationery and exhibition materials.
